CHOOSING TAIL LENGTH
Selecting the correct tail length is crucial for proper fitment and preventing your rear wheel from contacting the tail during hard launches. For optimal performance and clearance, match your tail length accordingly. DME Racing recommends the following tail lengths based on your bike’s wheelbase:

Hayabusa – All Years / Pro Street or Grudge Style 
Measurements are based on chassis that have been short-necked with a 1/2” offset front end.

• Wheelbase 68 – 69” / Tail 12″+
• Wheelbase 70 – 72″  / Tail 14″+
• Wheelbase 73 – 75″ / Tail 18″+
• Wheelbase 75″+  / Tail 21″+
