Which direction does your swinging pick-up swivel?

Are bolts included with the oil pan?
Answer: Our oil pans are designed to use your motorcycle's stock bolts.
How does a motorcycle swinging pick-up work?
Answer: Our pickups are designed to prevent loss of oil pressure when drag racing. To do this the pick-up will swivel based on the bike’s acceleration and deceleration movements to help keep the oil pressure level. When you launch your motorcycle the oil flows to the back of the pan, and when you let off the throttle the pick-up will follow the oil to help get it to the front of the pan quicker. This addition of our Swinging Pick-up will help keep your oil pressure steady during transitions.
Should the oil return tube be removed so the pickup can pivot?
Answer: Yes, the oil return tube should be removed.
What Oil Pan Drain Plug Size Do I need?
Answer: All DME Racing oil pans, except the BMW, utilize a standard 14mm x 1.25" oil drain plug. The BMW S1000RR oil pans use a 16mm x 1.5" oil drain plug.

Excellent pan, at first a was a little weary about why this pan was more than the others, but after seeing all the billet pieces and machine work and engineering that went into building something this awesome I understood the price. The directions were spot on and very helpful people on the phone. I have a 2016 zx10 and running a sidewinder style pipe but if you have a 2016 model it will take some modification for the factory header to fit.
