The Beringer Rear Brake Master Cylinder 12.7mm has been designed for a long life of trouble-free service. They have been tested with over 100,000 cycles with success. The piston is protected from dust by a lip seal. Included with the master cylinder is a banjo fitting to connect the brake line and the fittings to connect a hose to your fluid reservoir.
The Beringer rear master cylinder follows the arc of the brake pedal during the piston stroke, thereby eliminating side loads on the piston seals and offering more stroke and increased precision and feel. Stroke can be adjusted by modifying the angle of the MC12.7. Beringer’s floating rear master cylinder features special piston cups that allow it to send hydraulic pressure to the rear caliper but also to receive pressure on the inlet side, from a Thumb Brake and send that hydraulic pressure out to the rear caliper.
