DME Racing Real Street Rule Revisions
In an attempt to maintain parity in the DME Racing Real Street class, the #XDA has revised some of the rider weights and wheelbases to the turbocharged bikes.
We will be watching bikes throughout the season (as we normally do) to make sure we have tight grouping between power adder bikes and ‘all motor’ bikes. We will continue to make further adjustments this season if certain combos get outside the rest of the pack.
We all need this class to stay healthy with fair competition and need 16 bikes per event. Thank you and good luck guys and gals!
REVISIONS
Due to safety concerns arising from an improper fit between the factory fork leg outer diameter dimensions and the factory triple clamp bore dimensions, the following rule addendum will be effective immediately:
TRIPLE CLAMP SHIMS: The use of shims, spacers, or tapered spacers is allowed in order to create a more secure clamping load between triple clamps and tapered or reduced diameter factory fork legs. Any devices for this purpose must be manufactured from aluminum, may not exceed the diameter of the triple clamp bore by more than 10mm, and may not exceed the height of the triple clamp bore by more than 5mm.
